Roads are icy!!!

Like a crazy person, I ventured out to check the roads around Melissa only to find out that people here do not know how to drive in ice. The driveway into Mudpies is VERY slick and the incline makes it difficult to access in my little SUV. As of the time of this post, McKinney ISD has cancelled classes but Melissa and Anna are still on the fence. After evaluating road conditions, I believe that they will eventually determine that it would be safer to skip school today. As for Mudpies, if they do not cancel classes, we will plan to open at 8:30 am but I urge everyone to go slow and allow yourself plenty of time. You will probably want to bring the truck or SUV to get into the parking lot, smaller cars will NOT do well. Danielle
